About the job:

The YouTube Business Technology team focuses on the business of YouTube, ensuring the YouTube Business Organization can evolve. The team provides the tools and systems that deliver the information and insights necessary to help creators and artists continue to grow. In this role, you will lead the APAC-based team that provides systems to address technology needs of all YouTube users, viewers, creators, and paid subscribers.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in Software Engineering and leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Graduate degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience delivering business infrastructure for a scaled, global company.
  • Experience managing software or systems delivery, with the ability to provide functional expertise, apply best practices, and leverage core capabilities.
  • Experience in business architecture, systems design, systems integration, data architecture, and solutions delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a systems expert with architecting and delivering scaled reliable systems.
  • Build and lead a business systems team and lead them to deliver reliable systems that drive business transformation.
  • Evolve the broader systems strategies to lead changing business goals.
  • Create a culture of ownership and accountability for the team’s work.
  • Lead the team to new possibilities and inspire them to deliver fresh, creative solutions.
