Job Description

Inviting applications for the role Manager / Assistant Manager (Risk Oversight and Challenge)

As a Consumer Risk subject matter expert, you will oversee the appropriateness of existing controls of monitoring activities that are in place and ensure necessary controls are being executed fully, timely to mitigate risk as per standards, policies, and procedures according to the execution cycle with the help of artifacts and other supporting documents. This is an enterprise-wide activity and not limited to a specific country and region.

Responsibilities
• Actively participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions/meetings with client executives, gathering requirements and providing suggestions to problem statements that are discussed.
• Opine on the appropriateness and adequacy of key controls supporting the design and implementation of project deliverables
• Set up meetings to review and support project owners by providing suggestions to bridge gaps to successfully complete each project phase.
• Work with project managers who will advise when key artifacts are designed and or implemented
• Place reliance on the Standards, where applicable, to ensure project owners comply with required governance, documentation, implementation, reporting requirements.
• Conduct walkthrough meetings with project owners, functional and business stakeholders as identified to ensure handoffs, business execution, and related controls are effective.
• Document and complete project closure document to evidence project controls review.
• Analyze and generate ad-hoc reports as per client requirements.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in Consumer Risk Management
• Degree in finance/ equivalent with Retail Banking experience
• Should have a good understanding of Risk Framework, standards, policies, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Advance Excel with Basic macro knowledge is a plus.
• PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to cultivate robust working relationships with the team, peers, and clients.

Good to have: (Not Mandatory)
• Base SAS and SQL
• Python
• Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
