Google – Network Engineer, WAN
Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
4 years of experience in relevant field in the following technologies/protocols: 802.1X, MC-LAG, BGP, EVPN, MACSec, MPLS, SDWAN, IP Routing Policy
Experience in one of the following: Python or Go
Experience with Linux
Preferred qualifications:
Expert level certifications (CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE)
Experience with large enterprise network design and operations in a global environment
Experience in working in a multi-vendor environment
Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for development of solutions for Google’s Wide Area Enterprise network, executing qualification and validation through deployment, operation, and optimization
Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity
Work with other teams to analyze requirements or potential problems and proactively develop solutions and policy recommendations
Lead development of Google’s Enterprise Network infrastructure through published engineering design documents and specifications. Lead the requirement analysis, engineering design, and solution development of Google’s enterprise network infrastructure.
