We are currently seeking a Product Manager with specialized knowledge in smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies to lead the development and execution of our next-generation products. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to enhance operational efficiency and productivity through cutting-edge technological solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Define and execute the product vision and strategy for smart manufacturing solutions, aligning with the company’s overall business goals.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to develop and refine product offerings that meet the demands of Industry 4.0.
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and post-launch assessment, ensuring timely delivery of products.
Develop detailed product requirements and specifications that integrate advanced manufacturing technologies such as IoT, AI, robotics, and big data analytics.
Oversee pilot projects and prototypes in industrial environments to validate products and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Monitor the competitive landscape to ensure our products maintain a competitive edge and align with industry standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation and roadmaps for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct comprehensive market research to stay ahead of industry trends and gather insights that drive product innovation.
Engage directly with customers and key stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements, ensuring the product solutions are closely aligned with market needs.
The Team
Smart Manufacturing team
Qualifications And Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the manufacturing or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, including IoT, AI/ML ,automation, data analytics, cyber systems, IT Systems like ERP, MES, CRM, SCM etc.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into effective product strategies.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Experience working closely with an engineering organization to define and manage applications through the entire product lifecycle.
Preferred:
Prior experience in a smart manufacturing environment.
Experience with product development
Ability to juggle many competing priorities / deadlines
Certifications or additional training in product management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
