About the job:

As the Director of Finance Systems, you will lead the digital transformation of order-to-cash systems, enabling increased accuracy and interconnection, along with legal and regulatory compliance for a global enterprise experiencing hyperscale growth. You will establish the next iteration of financial systems to adopt and implement global, standard, cloud-based, strategic ledger platforms.

The organization will be responsible for optimizing the speed, security, regulatory compliance, and customer experience for transactions moved daily through our global financial systems. The outcome will be robust and global infrastructure, governance, and controls to ensure consistent and materially accurate, complete, and timely ledger data and results.

This role will be global in scope, utilizing strategic and operational thought leadership over the finance and reporting transformation. You will lead and influence a wide number of stakeholders, virtual and matrix teams. You will also serve as the executive architect and consultant on clear expectations and acceptance criteria of the system, process, and solution.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience delivering enterprise financial systems, and project management and process transformation experience.
  • Experience building and leading a remote site for a corporation, defining the team mission, and facilitating collaboration with engineers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of software engineering and product lifecycle experience and ability to explain complex business or technical concepts.
  • Experience migrating legacy financial first-party and third-party systems to SAP.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, and experience developing and testing enterprise applications.
  • Experience building test automation frameworks.
  • Experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to forge close professional relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and build a talented and dedicated organization. Develop a culture of innovation, product excellence, and execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Cloud Revenue using certified data, documented definitions, and business hierarchy while working closely with cost components.
  • Work closely with Product Management and architecture teams. Understand product outlook and end-user experiences, and help deliver global-scale implementations.
  • Achieve objectives through process excellence, partnerships with functional leaders, and the full utilization of the company’s systems and applications.
  • Understand the business and activities that drive automated planning, reporting, and self-service reports to help make informed decisions. Suggest new system uses/reports. Build platform improvements and APIs to be used for Order, Fulfillment, and Invoice activity.
