Job Description

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in Program Management with UX related projects in UX design, user research, content strategy, or tools and methodologies
Experience in managing projects with multiple director level stakeholders
Experience in performing analyses that translate data into actionable insights, influence stakeholders, and develop execution plans

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones and geographies
Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering stakeholders, and understanding user issues
Proven track record of partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams in a highly dynamic/fast-paced environment

User Experience (UX) Programs and Operations at Google drives projects within our UX organizations by increasing communication and connection points, streamlining the UX design process, and driving a culture of user centered development. Google UX is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. In this role, you will drive the integration of product data into the UX recruitment process. You will be collaborating with partners across product teams, legal/compliance, marketing, technology, and recruiting operations.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities
Lead or collaborate with UX team leadership in defining team priorities, oversee key project decision-making, including: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes.
Manage UX design and review process with multi-disciplinary UX teams and establish the right processes with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality, user-centered design solutions from implementation to release.
Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, and asset management, driving required changes to make sure the UX team is enabled to create excellent user experiences, and make the most impact at scale.
Drive kick-off and planning process for UX, in partnership with Technical Program Managers to ensure UX is plugged in and proactively able to contribute to planning.
Build and own plans for complex UX programs and execute them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
